3 Years Running!
Our team was asked to return to Dance for Kids Sake for the 2023 year to assist with video production! Along with Program director Erin Alsop and production director Rob Snyder we sat down together to discuss ideas for how to bring the entire event to life! With Erin having many years of planning under her belt and Rob having the equipment to support a large scale productions, our team was able to assist with the video capture itself, we planned for
- 3 camera operators
- 4 cameras
- Video Segments
- Intermission
- Background Music for the event
Prior to production we communicated an estimate and deliverables were establised.
Production
The content process
1 day prior to the event, we setup and run-thru for the event. Technical pre-production was of up the upmost importance that evening, and combining forces with Rob Snyders group for the 3rd year is a row was a breeze. Communication was streamlined to allow for everything to run smoothly. Specifically our team provided the video feed for the IMAG setup by Rob Snyder. Out team handled all elements of video production, Along with providing the video feed on the day of the event, we also recorded the event, guests experience, b-roll and food trucks.
In this stage, we:
- Conduct in-depth discussions with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and target audience.
- Research the industry, market trends, and competitors to gain valuable insights.
- Develop a comprehensive video concept, including the storyline, script, visual elements, and overall creative direction.
- Create a detailed production plan, outlining the timeline, budget, resources, and logistics required for the video shoot.
Post-production

Once the filming is complete, we enter the post-production stage, where we bring all the elements together to craft a polished and visually captivating video. This stage involves video editing, adding special effects, enhancing the audio, and incorporating graphics or animations as needed.
In this stage, we:
- Carefully review and select the best footage captured during filming.
- Edit the video, ensuring smooth transitions, proper pacing, and visual continuity.
- Enhance the video with color correction, visual effects, and motion graphics to create a visually stunning result.
- Incorporate appropriate music, sound effects, and voiceover to enhance the overall impact of the video.
